Frank Greinacher was born in 1959. During his childhood he was very interested in martial arts. At the age of 12 he started boxing and Tae Kwon Do, a Korean martial art. His desire to learn martial arts never let him rest, until he saw an announcement for a Kung Fu / Wushu gym in 1974. This gym was led by Mr. Seet Chor Thong from Singapore, who was living in Germany for studying purposes. He taught Zhou Jia Quan, also known as SHAOLIN HUNG CHOY, which is a traditional style of Wushu coming from southern China. It was developed by Zhou Long during the end of the 19th century. Frank Greinacher was immediately fascinated by this Wushu style and began training Hung Choy (Zhou Jia Quan) with Seet Chor Thong as a teacher.
In 1977 Mr. Seet Chor Thong returned to Singapore, but Frank Greinacher and the other students continued practising.
In 1979 Frank Greinacher visited Singapore to intensify his studies of Zhou Jia Quan. Seet Chor Thong also introduced him to Shi Xiong (means older Kung Fu brother) Yeo Lian Hock, who was instructor in the NIA KWANG PUGILISTIC ASSOCIATION. Yeo Lian Hock checked his knowledge and abilities in Zhou Jia Quan and after that decided to teach him furthermore. This way, Frank Greinacher could extend his knowledge of Hung Choy (Zhou Jia Quan) even more. Later he was also introduced to Yeo Lian Hock’s master, Sifu Lim Chin Kim. That year Frank Greinacher, his older Kung Fu brothers Seet Chor Thong and Heng Keng Huat and his instructor Yeo Lian Hock initiated the SHAOLIN HUNG CHOY ASSOCIATION with Yeo Lian Hock as chief instructor.

1985 Frank Greinacher was given the title "Sifu" and in 1987 he and Sifus of other styles founded the "TRADITIONAL KUNG FU ASSOCIATION GERMANY".
Being in Singapore in 1988 Sifu Lim Chin Kim adopted Frank Greinacher to be his direct student, which multiplied Frank Greinachers knowledge furthermore. Back in Germany he founded the SHAOLIN HUNG CHOY INSTRUCTOR ASSOCIATION to assure that all instructors had highest knowledge of SHAOLIN HUNG CHOY Kung Fu.
In the year 1996 Frank Greinacher was allowed to call his school in Gevelsberg "ZHOU JIA QUAN REN YI TANG" which means "Hall of Moral and Justice" and is by the traditions of Zhou Jia Quan a great honour, because this was the name of the first school of the founder, Zhou Long.
