First Coloured Belt Exams in 2009

18 students of the German Zhou Jia schools SHAOLIN HUNG CHOY ASSN., Gevelsberg, GERMAN ZHOU JIA KUNG FU ASSN., Haßlinghausen and ZHOU GUAN KUNG FU CENTER, Schwelm successfully took their coloured belt exams.

Under the strict eyes of their instructors and examiners, the Sifus (masters) Leonardo Tarantino, Eugen Helmut and Alexander Tschernjawski (in the middle of the picture from left) the students again had to prove their mastery in so called forms, in the techniques of kicks and in fighting skills.

It takes about 8 - 12 months of continuous practice to be admitted to the next higher belt exam. To reach the black belt will take about 5 - 7 years. The next black belt exams will be on February 15^th, 2009.

All 18 students have successfully passed the exam:
